What is online therapy like?
I use a HIPAA compliant Zoom and Goodle Meet virtual therapy rooms for in real time sessions. I am on my computer and my clients are able to use their computers, IPADs, Notebooks, and Smart Phones. I prefer clients are in a comfortable and private location on their device. I am in my office.
My clients report that online sessions have saved them time driving to and from an person office. They also report the time they save makes it easier to fit the sessions into their schedules.
How long does each therapy session take?
Intake (first session) is 60 minutes.
Individual session is 45-50 minutes.
Couple session 45-50 minutes.
Additional time can be requested and additional fees apply.
What type of therapy techniques do you use in sessions?
I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. From small scale circumstances, to traumatic experiences - my services are personalized to suit everyone’s needs. Some approaches include EMDR, Mindfulness and Acceptance, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and implement clients' spiritual or religious beliefs when requested by clients.
